Dan and Fonda opened Artistic Designs in the year 2000 after the sale of the monument company they operated for 23 years. With their son Kevin, they began servicing 73 satisfied customers on 2 CSR TURBO cutters.
When we started, we had 8,500 designs and 88 alphabets. Now, more than 10 years later, we have over than 22,000 designs, and over 180 fonts. We have 4 CSR TURBO cutters and service over 350 customers all over North America.
Monu-Cad is originally installed with 10 folders. This made searching for the components very tedious. Especially when considering some folders had hundreds of files. In 2008, we spent the winter sub-dividing our folders to make it simpler and less time consuming. We now have 29 folders with sub-folders that are simply labeled to find that perfect design. We include a set of catalogs that includes everything in the program with the same layout. Perfect for traveling sales staff.
